THE AFRICAN PRECISION MASTER 2025

A precision rifle show to rival any who have gone before us. We have taken the advice of hundreds of athletes to create an event that provides the ultimate competitive environment, a complete shooting experience and above all else a tour that rewards the competitors.

Each show will include three divisions, open centrefire division, a .22LR rimfire division and a Tactical Division limited to AR-15 rifles chambered in .223 or 5.56 x 45mm NATO.

Real Life Scenarios

All Precision Master Shows will be two-day multi-stage events with an 80/20 split in terms of marksmanship and physical activity.

This means the physical challenges are not strenuous but are designed to have athletes shooting after climbing stairs, ladders, obstacles and crawls to position themselves optimally.

Can you handle the pressure?

The pressure of our time and points scoring algorithm, raised heart rates and, at times, the crowds watching, will put athletes through the ultimate Precision Rifle test!

8 REGIONAL SHOWS

We are launching with 8 Regional Shows on the schedule culminating in the Grand Finale which takes place at The Tactical Nation Championship Week in October 2025. Qualification for the Grand Finale is presented in detail below.

The Regional Show dates are set to ensure that athletes are competing in a variety of weather conditions, climates and terrain.

The Tactical Nation is about creating real life scenarios that the heroes who protect our freedoms are confronted with each day.

A unique Barrel trophy will be awarded to each regional winner along with the biggest Cash Prize guarantees in African sport shooting history.

  • CASH PRIZE ALLOCATION

    There is a R50,000 cash prize guarantee for every Regional Show of The Precision Master in 2025.

    The breakdown will be listed below 14 days prior to each show as we believe the prize pool will increase in time.

  • PRODUCT PRIZES

    The prize table is allocated according to finishing position with a few special awards allocated by the Match Officials.

    All prizes will be announced and allocated One Week prior to each show.

    R1,200 per athlete per event

The African Precision Master 2025

The Precision Master 2025 will be crowned at the The HeadShot Circus Grand Finale staged during The Tactical Nation Championship Week from 09-12 October 2025 at Marloo Shooting Range in Gauteng, South Africa.

This is an invitational event at no charge to the Athletes.

Each Division will have a 16 Athlete Field that will be selected as follows:

The winners of each regional show will be automatically entered, if any multiple winners exist then the next best placed finisher will be entered.

The 4 Wildcards

These will be selected from the next best ranked athletes across the league table.

The Four Special Entries

These are reserved and will be used for special qualifying events staged under the same conditions and standards athletes will come to expect from The Tactical Nation.
