What a week it has been at The Tactical Nation!
We have just launched the campaign for The Tactical Nation Expo 2025 which will be at three of the events: Gauteng Regional, Western Cape Regional and National Championships back in Gauteng for 2025.
We have had one stumbling block in KZN and have removed the province from our schedule and added Mpumalanga and possibly Limpopo if we can get a suitable date during the time of the year with the least rainfall. We will announce these venues in the coming week.
Another awesome piece of news is our partnership with Overberg Guns & Ammo where we will use our platform and create an online presence to offer the best deals on all equipment needed for our events.
Over the coming weeks we will be adding select firearm brands including a dedicated hunting section as we prepare for the launch of our OTT platform which we have already started filming some content for.
This week we begin building a stage for the first Tactical Nation event which will be used to showcase the games, what it entails and a full run through of what is expected. We will also be doing explanation videos for the rules being used to ensure our athletes are kept abreast of the rule set.
The ability to keep the cost of entry down meant we had to bring in some revenue streams to support our platform and to ensure the quality of the event is at the highest possible standard.
For this we have created the Expo which not only brings brands together at the event, but it also adds another attraction to bring in spectators and visitors which will bring eyes to the event and hopefully a crowd that gives our athletes some energy!
The Expo has been carefully planned, again we did not want to just have 200 brands rock up and stand there for 3 days, we wanted to create something special, something unique and something memorable.
The ability to Look, Feel AND Test Fire any weapon system on the floor and we have added an element to allow brands to perform Live Demo’s. This will be one of the first times in Africa that brands will be able to showcase their products to a mass audience outside of standard range days.
For the brands we have also charged near cost price vendor fees with the proviso that they come with something special for the visitors. We have a chance as an entire industry to take The Tactical Nation competition and use it as a medium to access new audiences, customers and supporters.
We have given the opportunity for all the Associations from NatShoot to SAGA to come and have a stand FREE and we have done the same for other competitive events like the PRS to also advertise their competitions FREE at the event.
Media, Marketing and Promotion
We have many things planned that will create the hype for the event. We are not following the standard: Radio, Outdoor Billboards and Online ads. We are doing all of these AND MORE.
We are entering a team for every shooting competition we can enter, we are doing shopping mall pop-up promotions, we going to be on the highways, in the gyms and everywhere in between to ensure that we build an audience across the country.
We are proud to appoint On Target Africa Magazine as our preferred media partner and we look forward to working with Louise and her team in promoting our sport and the industry in general.
